I know what I want for my birthday - a computer from Crime Scene Investigation.

From what seems like a normal computer terminal that would cost little more than £400, American detectives have somehow engineered the finest graphics on slick programs that allow faultless transparent windows, wild colour schemes and processing power that can fly through the database of Las Vegas’ entire criminal population for a match in no more than five seconds.

Pig's head nailed to door of Asian centre

A pig’s head was nailed to the door of an Asian community centre in Cornwall, prompting police to patrol the area after several racist attacks on the building.

In a scene reminiscent of The Godfather, the pig’s head was used as a shock and awe tactic by perpetrators who have built up a steady campaign of hatred against the centre over the last two weeks.
