YET another nail in the coffin for a dead in the water Labour Party? Today the new Home secretary Alan Johnson has said that ID cards will not be compulsory for British nationals. The U-Turn Party is in full flow it seems. I've said it before and will say it again, Labour do not know what their left hand is doing from their right hand. They've (the government and Gordon) have never had a straight business plan for the economy) in the sense that they believe that spending and spending and borrowing and borrowing will get us out of the financial roller-coaster. They never had a plan when Tony and co disastrously decided to invade Iraq, along with the Americans. And now it seems they don't have a concrete plan with ID cards. According to the Daily Politics, Johnson may be planning to leave the computer national database open where YOUR details maybe still on file, but you don't actually have a piece of plastic to show that YOU are YOU. Identity is a major problem for this government. They simply don't know who or what they stand for anymore. They have lost their way. Have the Labour Party completely lost its identity? They should be wiped off for the foreseeable future. Pull the plug, as they say. But only you can do that. It's up to you.
