Lucca Summer Festival, Piazza Napoleone, Italy

The town of Lucca welcomes an incredible line-up of international stars for its annual summer festival. This year's programme has already included performances by Sheryl Crow, Erykah Badu. Alicia Keys and Leonard Cohen also star plus many more.

The festival has had enormous success since its first edition in 1998. An idyllic setting inside a ring of Renaissance walls fronted by gardens and huge bastions has attracted guests such as Joe Cocker, Ray Charles, Joan Baez, Lionel Richie, Bob Dylan and George Benson over the years.
