Heir to Blair, or Iron Laddie?

Super Cam?Super saviour David Cameron has been bouncing from one idol to another in past months - one minute, he is the heir to Blair, the next he is the Iron Laddie, who’s not for turning.
The man of steel, who was elected Tory leader well over two years ago, promised no more Punch 'n' Judy politics - so far, he has been knocking the mallet about too much on poor old Gordon.
In the papers this week, Mr Cameron said: “I’m going to be as radical a social reformer as Mrs T was an economic reformer.”
And he promised to mend a broken society.
But the ‘A –Team,’ led by the radical reforming Mr C, have their work cut out apparently. Mr B (Brown) is plotting as we speak to knock Mr C off his perch.
Being a super hero is not always an easy business.
Super Cam believes in 'social responsibility.'
This means not just government doing their bit, but everyone in society chipping in and moulding a better Britain. A good idea, but can Batman do it alone?
The fact remains, he may look great, but does he have enough policies up his sleeve to be a vote winner?
But we all know Labour and Liberals like to pinch policies - just look at the inheritance tax debacle.
Mr C was on a poll of 100 best looking men for FHM magazine. If that is not proof that the man has the...what the French call Va Va Vroom, then, I don't know, what is?
He said to Blair in PMQ's one time: 'You were the future, once.'
But Tony Blair and David Cameron are not the same. Oh no...In fact, Cameron is more Thatcherite than Blairite.
I’ve always said: “You can take Thatcherism away from the Tory's, but you cannot take Thatcher out of the Tories.”
When they unwrap the Cameron Christmas present, will there be any substance underneath all that rhetoric?
I've always wanted to go up in a hot air balloon!New Labour's hot air balloon in 1997 took off rapidly. But now, the bubble has burst and they are sinking right back down to earth....BOOM...it's a rough landing!
But Cameron has a glitch in his armoury, a shortcoming.
He had a 'bit part' in Black Wednesday in 1992 when he was working as an aide to the then Chancellor Norman Lamont. So what?
Former Chancellor Gordon Brown played a leading role in the 10p tax fiasco!
I suppose the real question remains – would you buy a second hand ‘green’ car off Super Cam? The Jury’s out on that one!
