Wake up South Africa

Archbishop John SentamuYORK Archbishop John Sentamu urged South Africa and the wider world to ‘wake up’ on Sunday (June 29) regarding the oppressive regime of tyrant Robert Mugabe and take action.
Speaking on Sunday AM with Andrew Marr, the archbishop, who on the same programme a few months ago, tore up his dog collar in defiance over Mugabe’s dictatorship, said that isolation was the key to ridding Zimbabwe of Mugabe.
He told BBCs Marr: “I would like to plead with South African President Thabo Mbeki. It is not too late for you to liberate yourself from this suggestion, that because Mugabe was a war veteran therefore we can only just simply persuade him.
In Uganda we were liberated by Tanzania saying enough is enough, and actually its army drove Idi Amin out of South Africa please, for heaven's sake, stop all this suggesting that this is going to be imperialism, this is going to be militarism."
He added: “South Africa, for heaven's sake, just wake up to what is happening in Zimbabwe in your own country. You've got four million refugees which you can ill afford, and I'd have thought you know this wonderful, wonderful prosperous country is being turned into a wasteland.”
The news comes as Mugabe’s regime claim they have won the elections after his opponent Morgan Tsvangirai pulled out – because of Mugabe brutality against denouncers of his regime.
Archbishop Sentamu added: “vultures are now governing and killing people.”
He said there should be complete isolation with business trading with Zimbabwe.
Finally, he made a personal plea to Mugabe.
He said: “You have stolen the election which was won by the opposition in March, please recognise the truth and step down.”
*In a FACEBOOK petition on his home page SUPPORT MORGAN TVSANGIRAI, the opposition leader wrote: "The dictator has 'won' his own sham. But our resolve to bring democracy to sunshineland Zimbabwe remains unshaken. One day soon our efforts will be rewarded. Let us remain vigilant and watchful, the end of Zanu is nigh. Aluta continua."

South Africa
SA is the only country that can do anything but Mbeki is totally pathetic and Mandela has been a disappointment.
The only one saying anything forceful out of SA is Zuma. Mark my words, one way or another ... Zuma will have a massive impact on African politics. He seems to be courting the West for when he becomes President of SA .
Zuma is a dangerous political animal ... interesting times ahead for all.
