Indigenous Brazilians blessed an art installation featuring giant tropical tree stumps in Trafalgar Square, London. The special work put on show in the UK is designed to symbolise the devastating effects of deforestation worldwide. Chief Tashka, of the Yawanawa tribe in the north western Amazonian state of Acre, carried out a simple ritual blessing the installation and its creator, Angela Palmer earlier this month. Fiona Sinclair Scott, Rachel Mc Govern and Morade Azzouz contributed to the video report.
