Could your dog save lives?

Lara Platman

There is a desperate need for more blood to save the lives of dogs that get injured in road accidents. The charity Pet Blood Bank is running critically low on supplies of TYPE-NEGATIVE blood. The breeds that can normally be of assistance are: Airedale, Boxer, English Bull Terrier, Flat Coated Retriever, Pointer. Donor dogs should have a good temperament, be between one to eight years old and be up to date with vaccinations. To register your dog please call: 01509 232 222.
