Government figures show that there has been a sharp rise in homelessness in the UK. Ylenia Lemos has a special report for The-Latest on the crisis.
According Britain's communities department, 44,160 households were deemed as homeless last year - a 10 per cent increase on the previous year. It is estimated that at least 4,672 people are sleeping rough in London and experts predict that homelessness in the capital is set to increase.
