Labour have accused the British Broadcasting Corporation of being biased because they offered the London Mayor Boris Johnson to appear as a cameo on the popular BBC London Cockney soap EastEnders. Johnson has often been accused (like his leader David Cameron, also of being a Tory Toff). It comes as yesterday, Labour had taken a pop at the popular tabloid newspaper The 'Murdoch' red-top Sun over their decision to back the Tories and ditch the lack-lustre PM GORDON BROWN. Harriet Harman attacked the paper by saying Labour would not be bullied by anyone. The paper's page three has a 'News in Briefs model,' it's The Sun's styled 'soft porn' with models posing in just their briefs. Labour activists, some who appeared on the Daily Politics show, said they had never read the Murdoch paper. Do you believe it? Never read The Sun? They must be living in a time warp?
Brown stormed out of a BBC interview and also had a pop at Sky News hack Adam Boulton yesterday calling him a 'political propagandist.' Johnson will be popping into the Queen Vic for a quick pint. It's reported he'll be having a showdown with the landlord Peggy Mitchell. Remember her? She dabbled in a spot of politics herself on the show:
Wonder if Johnson will evade questioning like he did with Paxman when he was running for Mayor a year or so ago?
And it's just dawned on me, I wonder if a Labourite will do a copy-cat and want to also go on the show? Would be a good scene if someone in the Vic threw a pint of ale over one of them! By accident of course...
