The latest ICM/News of the World poll shows the Tories surging ahead nineteen points clear of
Labour on 45%.
All the polls over the last few months, have seen the Tories around the 40% mark. Next week won't be pleasant for Gordon, especially since he may have to pay back some dough himself, relating to expenses.
Gordon should just put everyone out of their misery, and call an early general election - let the people decide. After all, he's been harping on about greater democracy and accountability, now's the best time to exercise it. On the polls alone, Labour are sleepwalking to defeat if they continue with loser Gordon. It's time the Labour Party did the decent thing and practice what they preach.
